Tim Milne

Vernon, BC

Brendan grew up in Vancouver, BC, Canada and developed a love for fishing at an early age. A career in the NHL delayed his full time fishing career but now he has more time to get out on the water! Currently, Brendan is the host of Reel West Coast and has had the privilege to fish waters around the world. Brendan views fishing as therapy and as a time to connect to the outdoors while disconnecting from the instant demands of today’s world. Chasing fish in the ocean, rivers or lakes brings many different challenges that are unique to each location. Brendan describes the adrenaline rush from a fish biting your presentation as electric and his goal is to encourage people of all ages, to get out on the water and experience that feeling to create lifelong memories.

Bob Izumi is Canada’s most popular fishing personality and one of the foremost spokespersons on the sport. Bob has hosted his weekly Real Fishing Show for over 37 years and has educated and entertained legions of anglers, on the finer points of fishing. Bob’s infectious enthusiasm have made him a “TV-buddy” to millions of Canadians. Bob was inducted into the Canadian Fishing Hall of Fame, in 2009.

Bob’s unmatched credibility in the fishing world is due in part to his incredible success as a tournament angler. In 1979 Bob Izumi became Canada’s first full-time professional fisherman and in over three decades of competitive fishing Bob has won more than 70 major events. He has won multiple Angler of the Year and Team of the Year titles and he is the only Canadian angler to win the Triple Crown of fishing; the Canadian Open, the Classic Championship, and Angler of the Year title in a single season. In July 2011, Bob won his first major championship in the USA at the 1000 Islands tournament.

Along with his television show and tournament career, Bob is an award-winning author, seminar speaker, conservationist, and radio show host. His Real Fishing television show and Real Fishing Radio program are Canada’s longest running syndicated series in the television and radio.

Recently, Bob became aware of SHOCKWAVE’s suspension seats, and this discovery increased his desire to be more comfortable and to protect his back out on the water. Earlier this year, he chose to install the SHOCKWAVE S5s suspension in his Ranger.
